Last week we went down to Oceanside for a few days. It was so nice to get away with the boys and have some family fun. We stayed in a little condo literally right on the beach. It was great to not have to load sandy kids in the car! After the drive down on Monday everyone was ready to be outside and run around. Cruz didn't love to sit in the sand, but was happy to play and climb all over me in my chair.
Zander and Zackery were in heaven. Both Aaron and I agreed the beach is a great place to be because we never had to say "quit running around," "stop yelling," "stop throwing rocks." They could run, and yell, and throw rocks all day. And that they did!
This is an attempt to capture a picture of Cruz doing a headstand. He kept doing them and thought he was so funny. He also got to a standing position on the beach without pulling up on something.
After the beach that day, we got cleaned up and got some dinner at Joe's Crab Shack. Everyone ate a yummy dinner and we were entertained by the dancing waitresses. We walked back to the condo and looked for crabs and other sea life on the shore of the bay.
