This was such a fun day for so many reasons! Aunt KayeLynn came and made chocolates with Megan and I. So many fun memories making them with Grandma. (My memories are more of eating them than making them, but Megan remembered making them).
We learned a few things by trial and error (caramels), learned something new (almond joys), and loved every bite and memory of the mints that Grandma always made.
Maybe a new tradition was born. I'd like to think Grandma was there with us...maybe wishing she could have a taste and shaking her head and laughing when we cooked the caramels too long.
