This was one of the most enjoyable Christmas seasons I remember for a long time! Christmas went up a week early this year because Thanksgiving fell early. I was so looking forward to putting decorations up and beginning this joyous time of year. Every morning we read a Christmas story, and I think every morning I cried. We could feel the Christmas spirit in our home and all around. Life was still crazy (our lives are never not crazy, especially in December with all the birthdays), but we felt the love of our Savior and the importance of His birth and life. We were able to slow down enough to enjoy His gifts and share some of those with others.
