1st Annual Futrell Turkey Trot

 A few years ago Aaron ran the Redrock Loop on Thanksgiving.

He's always wanted to do it again.

We decided to start a new tradition and do it as a family...except not the whole thing.

Someday maybe, but not this year.

Actually he says I'm doing it next year with him.  It's 13 miles.  A very uphill at times 13 miles.

Possibly.

 This year we did 2 up and 2 back.

2+2=4

 (We had to wait 5 minutes or so for Zander to dry his tears in order to take this picture.  10 feet before the 2 mile sign Zander veered off the road and headed down a hill...a BIG hill.  Luckily a rock stopped his bike and sent him over the handle bars.  I'm making it sound more dramatic than it was). 

Zander took over the camera.  Who are those responsible parents?

Fun times...we'll definitely carry on the tradition next year...maybe even with the whole loop!
