We had a great time in Oregon for Thanksgiving. Some friends of my parents were so incredibly thoughtful and "loaned" their AMAZING house to our family of 18 (which unfortunately ended up being 15 because bad weather kept Megan, Kenny and Bennett from coming...boo)!
Despite the frigid temperatures (-18 degrees F the first morning), we had ourselves some fun.
A few memorable moments:
A long scary drive on icy roads in the middle of the night
Playing in the indoor pool with tons of snow right outside
Building snow tunnels with Aunt Taylor
Cooper's yummy Buffalo Chicken Chili (we'll have to get that one on the recipe blog)
A delicious Thanksgiving dinner
A 2:50am wake-up call on Black Friday (a first for me)
Puzzling with mom
Feeding reindeer
Throw up on the plane (Aaron, you're an amazing dad!!)
